I k ow people have done it in the past, and have found some interesting things.

Now, I want to make it clear that I am referring to sites that are more than 30-40 years old.

Thoughts?

I've got no more problem with that than I have with hunting a building that burned down or a town that got destroyed in a tornado, hurricane, or dam break. Disasters happen. I would not hunt a recent plane crash just like I would not hunt a recent train crash or auto wreck because i would want to give the authorities an opportunity to recover everything they need for safety studies and fault assignment, but with an old site everything that is going to be done on those lines has already been done.
