VLF or PI

Not sure what you really want to know, but if you can give us a little more info, like local, ground mineralization  budget you have to buy a detector etc. we will try to help.

And Welcome from Texas

how much do you want to spend?    I suggest using the search function at the top right corner and searching the entire forum for "Best Detector".   Given the little bit of information you have given us, any of the following should be able to do what you want it to (which is best would be a matter of personal choice and aesthetics):  Garrett Ace 250/Whites Coinmaster or Coinmaster Pro/Tecknetics Delta 4000/Fisher F2 or F4/Tesoro Compadre or Silver mMax/ or Bounty Hunter Tracker IV.

BA in Arizona

Sometimes just spouting a decent answer is easier than pulling those hen's teeth for details. I may just adopt this policy, Seldom. You are wise beyond what mere mortals can possibly guess.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
