Hi,

BTW, what make is the blue handled weapon?  I see FEG (an importer) but just wondered
who made it.  I have a Glock (.40) mdl 23 (small) and a NSS .22 LR that I may carry (with
state CCW of course)  Wink  Also like Ruger and the older (but flatter and easier to hide) old
military .45 auto (semi actually).  Ashamed we have to take precautions... but crackheads
and fools are way too many.  I largely try to avoid such areas near dark or without a few
fellow treasure hunters.

BTW as a CDL holder, I have found that hornet spray makes an effective "problem ender".
Can't (legally) have a firearm in a truck, but hornet spray (unlike pepper-spray) is legal
everywhere, had a 20ft range and WILL stop a "fool" in most cases!   Just FYI!

Take care!

PaulNC57

FEG is a company in Hungary.

They made the Mauser Model 80-SA and Model 90-DA.

They also make service type pistols for police and guards
in some European countries.

It is kind of like a Browning Highpower, but in 45 auto.

I like it. A good 1911 is nicer though.

My favorite pistol that I own is my Colt Police Positive
Fourth Addition 38 Special,

I got that for $250.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

Iffin you come from tha sticks like Tabdog does, it is just part
of livin in tha south.

I have a couple of shot guns, one 30 30 lever action rifle and
about 5 or 6 pistols.

That is moderate here in Arkie Land. Police are after a doctor
down here for having piles of granades, fully automatic rifles
and other military weapons. They think he may be the person
that blew up another doctor in Arkie Land with a car bomb.

I just recently found a hand granade pin and a shotgun shell
in the tot lot of one of Arkie Lands bussiest parks.

{alt}

Those 410 shells can be shot out of a 45 cal long colt pistol.

When I was a kid, We moved to the city. I used to carry a
shotgun down the street all the way to the woods. Back then,
no one thought anything about it.

Places in Lousiana are still like that.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

I opted for the Kel-Tec P3AT. It's lighter and about the same size as your derringer. Holds 6 .380 Auto.

Hay pPaul,

That is a good and easy wea[pon to conceal.

Did you see that Lugar came out with a 380
last year.

It looks like a copy of the Kel-Tec P3AT,

I havd a Kel-Tec 9mm Lugar. It holds 10 rounds
and is bigger than your 380. But it is still about
the smallest 9mm lugar auto.

Thanks fer sharin,

Tabdog

Yep, the Ruger LCP is an exact copy of the P3AT except it's a little heavier. From what I have read Ruger issued a recall because they were discharging when dropped. I'll stick with my Kel Tec. I grew up in the sticks so I have an assortment of little friends to tag along with me when things look rough. I got tired of my Glock pulling my pants, hence the P3AT. I love it. I can't hit shets with it because of my big club hands, but it gets the job done.
