Sinclairuser,

I have never owned one, but from the picture it looks like it is nothing more than a VLF with DD coil. Just about everybody makes one. What makes this one better? The only thing that has changed so far in the industry is better sensitivity. Everything is still VLF/TR, BFO (et al not so much anymore), GPR or PI. A lot have added microcontrollers to replace knob twiddling, but still the same.
Not downing the machine, because it probably works well, but there is still no "Gold Only" metal detector.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

I would rather give up Detecting than use the Junker, And that blistool  crowd with their false claims and the way they set up the machines is all wrong, run their items to the max so they are falsing  and then they demo a Real Metal detector and do not use it properly just to make theirs look good,

Funny how this one has A Copy of a white SEF Coil,, Dang Camel Jocky's what are they going to Put On the Beach Machine Sponge Bob Square Pants, lol.

It just shows you how child like their thinking is, Putting A Picture like that On It.

the picture is a vlf an old wilson design, the gpr is a different machine, the thread was insinuating that is was some sort of scam or fake(the gpr system),
i know its not i simply said that.
the vlf is sold through the same italian site its a gold detector in the same vein as  the original gold bug, or any other of that type, the reason its coil looks like that is due to the shell.
the internals will be closer to older whites coils,
there are plenty of old boys on this forum who will remember wilson detectors(didn't they use whites coils).
i agree completely about blisstool, total crap and people know it too, i would rather have a whites, or a cscope, most here are smitten with the xp deus.
personally i like analogue units.

I did the Minelab thing and it cost me £000s, Then I changed all my machines to Whites and because of the Iron over here my Finds Rocketed, I don't like the XP machines.

xp machines are aimed at the show off club crowd, most of them couldn't find a nail in a builders yard if you know what i mean.
the only xp i have used properly was the adx 150, it used it one weekend as a test it was an out of warranty repair i did.
it was ok, for a beginners detector, but nothing special.
