Go Up Go Down

Hi everyone Wise
Just thought I'd throw this out to you,
The garret pro pointer, the orange "carrot" as people call it,
What do you think of it, I bought one bout 6-8 months ago, it's good but I still seem to prefferably my old black one, simple and does what it's supposed to.  The carrot (for me anyway) seems over complicated for what it is.a find it in a hand full of dirt tool.sort of thing.I'm sure some will disagree,I'll still use it of course now and again but I'm thinking of making it my spare and returning to my trusty black one.
Anyhow, something else, I was routing round a cupboard at home the other day and came across a little brush that has a rubber scraper and small nodules too, it is a brush tool for cleaning suede shoes, makes a great thing to have in the field to lightly brush off dirt gently and I've not damaged anything with it.
so I think it's good.
Cheerso,  good luck.

Not much of a Coin Shooter more Prospector type here.   Never really needed one too much.  A  Falcon is the only one I've ever used more then a few times.

IMO Stick with the carrot, once you get used to it its the best thing ever! i dig everything, (ALMOST), and i can do twice as many in an hour with the AT Pro Pointer.

I've never owned or used the black model, but as I hunt mostly woods and fields, I prefer the bright color of the carrot. Just a personal preference.

I use a Pistol Probe, which works well, however, had to put some reflective tape on the barrel as it tends to look like a flintlock pirate pistol!!
