hi ! i say before that in my countrty , owning an MD : it's forbidden an i may go jail if police saw it , for that reason , i make it small as possible when i went to hunt
by car cause of lot of police road control , i cut the coil wire and put instead two plug like vlf plug .

For the Record, We on the Forum do not Condone Breaking the Law.

I'm sure your not the only one with a Detector. Why are they Illegal ? Is it tied to Antiquities ?

Can you get some sort of Permit or License of some sort ?

Seems to be quite a bit of detecting going on.

it's a dictatorship and this way , own an MD is forbidden , even if you never hunt , you just have it at home : it's forbidden , no relation with antiquities

I can not count them : DICTATORSHIP , what is allowed ? " eat , drunk sleep an shut-up . it is sad but it is likely , i'm not an outlaw

You don't have the room in the Enclosure for a speaker I don't think. I would just Just replace the head phone jack and use a amp/speaker 9vdc set up.
