Hey Tyler,
As stained glass windows or newell post at the end of the stairs? See if there is a set of outdoor steps to the basement. Was that the first time you met the owner?

GD is right on about the salvage value of the crystal nobs.  Those are often the first things to be taken in old houses. Even people that know nothing about antiques can see that they may have some value and usually they can be taken apart and slipped into a pocket within seconds.

i dont know about windows of stained glass but it was the first time i meet her but ive talked to her on the phone once and asked permission
