Go Up Go Down

I was planning on whining about the cold here in Raleigh today, how the ground is frozen, how the snow has fallen, how I haven't been able to metal detect.....But then I looked up "Repulse Bay, Canada" on weather.com and see that they currently are at -29 degrees with a "feels like" temperature of -59 degrees - yes, it really says -59 degrees. Holy Moly!  I guess I'm being a little hasty in my complaining...

I live in the South West.   New Mexico.   High Desert.  People think  here  the Desert and think HOT!   Well it can get up to 130F around here some times.  Yep hot enough to melt and PoP tires on trucks on I-10 for sure.  What they don't know is we can get down to the Teens more then a few times in the Winter.  High Desert!   We are at 4,400Ft.   It can be below 32F in the mornings and more the 70f at 4:00Pm.    Some folks get cought short on Clothes or Blankets.

WOW! To melt and pop tires?! That is crazy hot!  I bet is beautiful out your way, we hope to travel to New Mexico someday (I will definitely bring shorts and a winter coat!)
