its amazeing the differance in the prices of detectors,look at prices here in europe and the prices in the US, (a hell of a lot cheeper in the states)the problem is when we europeans purchase over seas,we have to pay the import tax,if its from a country out side the EU,we pay the VAT diffrence,and that can be more expencive then buying here in europe,I tend to buy from the UK,the pound is week (they are not euro zone) so we can get a good deal in Britian,I paid 199pounds for the fisher F2 in the uk,here in Germany it costs 299 euro, ca 60euro cheeper in the uk,,,,man you guys in the states got it good,ok look at it from a different side,we get the 1 and 2 euro coins,and the brits got the 1 and 2pound coins,,,,so call it a balance,,,,,mike
