Go Up Go Down

IT's that time of year where the PI is just starting to show its identifiable leaves but the root system is in full force.
I was at an old home, in Massachusetts and found three things.
1. a 1955 quarter
2. a "pure coin" spoon
3 P O I S O N  I V Y
Just a warning for those of us who really get it bad when we come in contact with it

Hi Home fire
I get this stuff very badly when I get it.
It started out shutting my eye and all over the left side of my face
Then it went to my left ring finger.
A week later it was still spreading and I got it on the inner elbow on my RIGHT arm
I goes through my body  internally so I have to take antibiotics when I get it.
THank G-d that doesn't happen often
Lesson learned USE GLOVES

If you ever answer the call of nature after touching it, well, nuff said.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

True BS!!!!!    My dad and I was deer hunting.  He got he Erg.  Guess what he used to clean up with?   He spent two weeks on the couch yelling every time a hair twitched.    Nothing could be done but Sits Bath in baking soda and Calimin.      He learned the Three Leaf thing after that for sure.

Go Up Go Down

When I was in the USAF living in IL, this guy down the block Burned a bunch in the Alley behind his house.  It put  9 people in the hospital.  One Died.   The smoke carries the oils that do the damage.  My kid was at school and I was at work when it happened.

She comes on like a rose
But everybody knows
You'll get yourself in Dutch
You can look but you better not touch.
Poison Ivy.  Poison Ivy
Late at night when you're sleepin
Poison Ivy comes a creepin  around

So which is it?
PI named after a lady or a lady named after PI?
