  Yes, more information required.  

What is it doing or not doing?

What Shorted?

How did you know it Shorted?

Have you done basic checks like any and all Power sources ?

Are all IC's being provided with the Correct Voltages ?

Broke Fix ?    We have some Really Good people here but they need a bit more then that to work with.  LOL

If you have an actual dead short on CN2, your troubleshooting will be easier. Here is what you need to do first.

1. Test the resistance on CN2 in both directions. Measure one way and then reverse the probes and read it again. Post your results here. Presuming you have a digital multimeter, your results will tell us a lot.

     Just guessing the Protection Diode may have turned into wire (SHORT).
