I bought the 560 vibra probe  recently off a  metal detecting forum in the for sale section for 60 dollars ,,,It works good for me try and buy used if you can , Or you can try to build one if you have the time and are somewhat of techie  the 570 is quite exspensive  at 170 dollars
craigslist is a good spot to check has well as here ,,and tnet also a good spot to look the best time to look is in the winter though better deals   good luck

Yes it also came with a  black  holster,,,,,Tilt  it up turns it on,, and it shuts off by it self after  a while when not in use ,,You can build a off an on switch for it ,,,I have seen this done on another site if i come across it i will post some pics,,,I am sure one of the techies will see this and can also advise you how to mod it to a on an off switch ,,I like mine the way it is though

Goodluck

I have used the harbour frieght pointer for about 1 year now with 1 problem, had to glue the tip in place. Other than that nothing. Its a deal for 15 bucks. Max depth is about 1 1/2 inches, I don't need anymore than that my Vaq. pinpoints really tight.
