Go Up Go Down

A good friend just got out of the hospital where he suffered from Sepsis. it apparantly is an illness where all your organs shut down and has a high death rate. He was hunting an area that was converted to a community park about seven years ago. The illness came upon him the day after the hunt where he had dug and retrieved coins and one bracelet. The hospital was unable to offer a cause of the infection and he had been in good health up to this point. We researched this lands history and found that it was a sand pit until 1961 and then it became a landfil (dump) until it was closed in 1974. He strongly suspects that he got this while digging this land. He also had itching and some redness when he arrived home from the hunt. Has anyone heard of or experienced anything of this sort. It is outright scary if there is a connection.

I have not heard of anything like that but if the dump was not operated right or was not closed and cleaned right, there is no telling what may be in the ground. Some dumps from that time period even had medical waste deposited in them. Scarryyyyy!!!

Perhaps  also radioactive junks from old dentist equipments o other , if the illness was rapidly, if he was hunting 3 ,4 hours  you must  think in a radioactive problem....
