These were found by me a long time ago back in the 1970-80's near Ft. Erie, Ontario Canada.
Most were found using a Garrett Master Hunter, Whites Coinmaster IV, Coinmaster 5000 and Fisher CZ5.
My friend found a King's 7th Regiment Breast Plate which ended up in a Famous collectors collection and made it into the book he published. It sold for big bucks.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

The battle sites we were able to hunt were not or not yet designated historical sites by the Provincial Parks Dept., they were still on private property or sites being transformed from farm fields into subdivisons with hundreds of  homes or strip malls......

Provincial Parks in Canada are off limits, get caught digging.....your in trouble.

I ure wouldn't just dispose of them in recycle bins---I'd put them on ebay or something to make a few bucks off them. I'm sure someone would love to have them--I know I like them-ha! Detecting Great Violent Great
