Hey, Bugar!  I can very much relate to your situation.  I've been out hunting and the detector messed up.  Couldn't figure it out, tried everything I could think of...  had to go home.  Later, reading the manual or a field test I go'  "Oh!  Yeah!  I shoulda thought of that simple thing!"  Then I'm thinkin' how I sure dumbed up that day out hunting!

my first few factory repairs were real lulus...thats what made me learn to fix my own stuff, and i read everything i can get my hands on about it....b

Problem is when your detector is programmed or build with surface mounted components.
