Hello to all, I for the last two have been trying to access the thousands of acres near my home in central California foot hills but to my dismay No no! the land owners will not sign a submission nor allow passage upon there land and the worst thing you can do is trespass.Things have gotten so bad with law suites ,maybe its a California thing, never the less sad Ill just have to keep asking till I get a yes Great

Adrian these people think they own the land, and on paper they do and it is their right, But i think it's sad that people such as yourself have so much trouble because it's not like the land won't be there after you've left , here its not quite that bad,  why don't you ask then about the history about the place and offer to see if you can find any pieces of history for them on their property and involve them
by showing them some of your finds , that part is a good ice breaker???

Just a Thought!

If I was asked For Submission, I too would tell you to skip a rope.  LOL!

Try asking for Permission!

thats all we do over here and we sign a form stateing how if any treasure willbe devided up and we both get a copy and that stands up in court so all are protected and everyones happy

Just like HOMEFIRE said just ask for permission it's alot less threatening and a whole lot easier and it works for use

Here in central Texas it's not really a permission paper  it's a paper that releases the land owner of all liability and a guarantee of not being responsible for any accidents that might happen and it works for me. Detecting
