Go Up Go Down

Hi there. I'd like to share a tip for detecting around unmarked or open ball fields, with no fan bleachers. I discovered that by mainly sweeping around the backstop, then up the 1st baseline and the 3rd baseline, about 10 feet back, off the field of play, there is usually some good finds. I've found that if you look for sunflower seed shells or similar, thats where the folks set up to watch the kids play ball! I've hunted about 10 fields so far(in my young Thunting career) and this has worked like a charm!
Don't know if anyone has suggested this method before, if so I apologize for the repeat post.

Happy hunting!
Rich Detecting

I always hunt the back stop and outside the 1st base line as these are the main spectator spots. If its a school or leisure field where kids in street clothes play then I'll hunt the whole baseline, coins fall out of pockets as kids run and any where there was a play made there is also a chance of coins getting lost.
