Not a bad vid RR... but he had the discrim on the Finny, and maxed the rest out. I use mine with the 8 inch mono, as the 10x14 is too heavy. Just after I got mine, she went kaput, and I had a new, updated board put in it by Phil at Goldminingcentre in Adelaide. Funny-It sounds identical to the ATX shown, and I dare say its performance is equal. After decades of service to Garrett, they back-stabbed him. The mob in Qld they gave the sole rights to don't even do repairs. A new generation of consumerists in the executive, I presume. Angry
Man, that Whites sounds like a  cuckoo clock.. I have the GMT and the IDXpro with MrBill mods, both excellent machines, plus and old coinmaster TR-D.
Last summer I did all my freshwater hunting with a GC3080 (2.4kHz vlf). This will even find small fish hooks, and 1/8 split shot with the hard-wired 10 inch coil, so not bad for a AU$150 detector.
30 detectors now, and they all get a run, depending on the ground and conditions. No such thing as one size fits all in my opinion. Detecting

That sure wasn't very impressive for the Dual Field No no!.
I sometimes think my old PI Pro with Mr Bills mods does a better job than my Dual Field and is a heck of a lot lighter.
