I enjoy hunting beaches , rivers and creeks. Have made a small tube box with plexi glass bottom that I use to walk and look thru it into the bottom of shallow areas, it does work well and at times i do find coins and jewerly. It is a lot of fun, I have even found old bottles this way.

Tabdog,
ya know it is very easier breathing but the draw back is,- it can be a pain on the back bending over so long, but ya can also see critters living on the bottom, ie: crawdads, perrywinkles, snails, etc. So ya also get a little enviroment adventure you would not see otherwise.
