Has anyone ever put wax on the coil cover ? I hear it will keep out the S.A.N.D.  do you think it will work ?  thanks Joe aka, ChopperJoe Detecting Detecting Cool Cool

Chopperjoe;

Depends on the kind of wax, ordinary floorwax wont stand up to sun and water.... I got some, for my plastic, Ramex canoe, that might work, its sun resistant. How about some of that black stuff for removing feathers?

Ive been thinking arrow cement, its rubbery and can be stripped off, if you need to.

OOPS! You said COVER, I was thinking waterproof.
