Can anyone help me with suggestions for a metal detector that would be perfect for searching/detecting at a depth of six feet or less ?

Haven! Hey Bro,, the TF-900 by Discovery goes down at least 7 ft. on voids, I tested it on an abandoned Army Storage room opening, by walking above it and I have detected non-ferrous metal at 9 ft. but not dug down that far, so I cannot prove it yet. About $550.

A Tracker by the name of stilldign, recommended an attachment by the name of Arc-Geo, which you can hook up either too a TM 808 or a TF-900. It will sense Non-ferrous metal and also record the depth, a TF-900 does not have a depth meter. You walk a grid and when you download the info from the Arc-Geo into your computer, you can turn the image sideways and it will give you the depth!!!  This Is A Fantastic Device! About $1500. I hope to get one soon!  All the Luck Amigo!  td

Hey TD, I have seen the Arc -Geo logger, but only online. It look's good but I havn't used it. I was thinking of starting up a post to se if we can get some feedback on it. If you do get one, it would be nice to get some field reports letting us know your opinion of it.

The Discovery TF 900 is no longer in production. 3 people have asked me to sell them my unit at a very decent price, but I had to decline. I need it!
Wanna see how crazy the market prices can be?

Hi Haven, most the opinion on this site don't rate the okm. ( nokta okm) ?
Its a heavy unit, the image thing looks good , but I think the results are questionable.
If you can borrow one go for it and do a few tests yourself.
