Hi Haven, most the opinion on this site don't rate the okm. ( nokta okm) ?
Its a heavy unit, the image thing looks good , but I think the results are questionable.
If you can borrow one go for it and do a few tests yourself.

If you had actually tested a properly working Nokta (as I had advised you to do so some time back), you'd not find any questionable results.
And even though I've seen fruitless 30' and 80' holes dug by OKM users, I have yet to disparage or cast doubts on the machine because I've yet to use one myself. Therein lies the difference between being able to give proper advice based on user experience as opposed to relying on hearsay to give advice.

Haven was not asking for a rating of an OKM machine.

To Haven: get the actual model name of the OKM machine (they make several types) and ask your question again. I hope a person who has actually used such a unit can answer you and give you tips on it. Smiley

Detection depth depends on the size of the target, no detector will not detect a coin at 6 feet, also depends on the material. To detect large targets at great depth is best to use the PI detector or magnetometer.
