Not sure if we are allowed to post links in our postings.
But, you can find my Treasure Hunting webpages by clicking on the "GLOBE" or "PROFILE" icon just to the left under my Pirate Ship avatar. Or by going to:

i went to radio shack today in search of parts to build me a set of headphones but couldnt find much. do you have a parts list

Try ElectronicGoldmine.com, they have some 2 inch, grill protected speakers that are ideal for earphone building. They have a small grill that will protect the speaker diaphragm and are cheap. A 2 inch should be good for low frequency response, too.

If you need something to mount them in, and do not have an old set to re-build, try a set of construction ear protectors... they are foam lined and usually big enough to get a 2 inch speaker into. Further, I would suggest using velcro because you can remove and replace, if you have to.

I never have had problems with the earphone electronics but have had the ear part break loose.

Please try again, you have to click on the Buy Button. I will try and change the button color, maybe that will help.
Thanks for looking. Glad your buddy loves that Sterling. I sure miss it. Found another in April, that stopped working after moving, repaired it. Works great, just haven't super tuned it yet. Your buddy may want to join our Musketeer group, we are owners from the earliest Sterling to the current Advantage. Lots of tech. stuff, pictures etc. you won't find anyplace else. You can find us thru my website. Have fun..............

Anyone know where to buy the Koss UR-30 headphone speakers or can anyone check the magnet of their speakers headphone for make and ohm number?

Make a post at our group for the detectors you are looking for and I will start a database for that. Will also let you know as I come across them. I do search around for them....
