The larger coil WILL go deeper at the expense of smaller targets.

That's the way it works.

Smaller coils have a Stronger Field and Abilities to detect smaller objects.

Larger Coils have a Wider, Larger Field at the expense of the Field Strength.

You can't have the Best of Both Worlds.

Gotta Pick one or the other.

On 12-15" coils you will lose about 1/2 - 1" on a coin that is 3/8" across but on your coins that are about 5/8"--3/4" there
should'nt be too much differance and on bigger coins and other target the depth will be greater, after talking to Jimmy Sierra
He told me that you don't gain any thing using coils over 15",

Using your snipper coil you will be able to clean an area and know that there is nothing left in the ground, remember the
coils the machines come with are designed to be a multi purpose coil and they are good for 80-85% of tasks that we need
them for, So with the 4",8" and the 10" there wont be much left in the ground when you have gone over it.
From what i have learn with my machines and coils is that how tollerant these coils are and how mineralization effects them,
Once you learn whats going on under the coil, as in target, trash and mineralization and how all three are relavent to each
other and never make the mistake of the biggest coils there are ie some 18x21" or 18" and leave them stuck there on the end
of you machines in the future, you will always find more by using the coils you have got than whooping on one of those giants
and swinging like crazy waiting for something to make it beep coz you will wave your shovel over it to see if it is still working
and it always beeps, and we have all done it, and the reason that it has'nt beeped all day is because the bigger coil see's
more ground, Iron and targets at once, So if you have disc out Iron and there is a good target next to a big piece of Iron
and the two pass under that monster coil at the same time because you have discriminated out Iron and ofcoarse the shear
mass of the coil you will miss alot of good targets, the use of those big coils must be used carefully, On clean land that has
low to medium mineralization or at the Beach and the rest as to what is best for you, will come as your knowledge grows
and your way of searching and the equipment you have.
