i've got my new platinum and omega 8000 ready. waiting for yellowstone to blow and melt this snow, anyway i hunt campguonds and they all have fire pits and alot of melted beer cansand trash. i have stock coils would a smaller coil really be that much better and are the double d coils really worth the price.

A sharp shooter coil would definitely be advantageous in a junky environment.

The double D wedge shape field is cool too.

Are they going to Even let you use your detector at Jelly Stone?

With the Don't step on the Grass mentality, I think your going to be disappointed.  Better get some info first.

No matter how cool those smokey Bear hats look, them folks can get Real Ugly Real Fast at times.

not in the national parks, but boy are they tempting.... we have national forest and blm land and campgrounds everywhere. sporstmans paradise here in northwest wy. lots of elbo room here, less than 500,000 in the whole state

ok, smaller coil is better for trashy area. i've heard some fisher coils will work on my omega 8000. how far back in years can a guy go coils that will work, are coils they like shoes if they fit wear them. i have the screw in connector for my cable. any advice on what will work
