My attempt at reverse engineering from some photos of this old compass detector. cannnot find a schematic for this puppy anywhere. cannot make heads or tales of the circuit because not sure of the transistors(which are pnp or npn or otherwise). I just might be able to figure out the search coil specs if i can get my hands on a schematic or maybe some who has one can send me some photos of the transistors on the circuit board then I will be able to draw a schematic. I've reached a dead end here. Help. I am also building a compass 840d clone from a schematic i downloaded. There is something nice about building your own stuff and it actually works.
