Go Up Go Down

Hi:  Iv'e got a couple of Compass 77 detectors which my dad and I used back in the 60's and 70's with great satisfaction.  We both switched to discriminator-type detectors 30+ years ago, but lately I've wanted to go back to the Compass detectors for some applications because of their performance, simplicity and ruggedness.  The problem I have is that they no longer work.  Countless battery changes have taken their toll on the wires and battery connectors/holders.  I replaced the (apparantly broken) battery lead on one detector, but it still doesn't work.  I'm not electronically inclined (I'm a 19th century man), so I need to find someone to send them to for repair/rebuild.  Any suggestions?

Welcome from New Mexico!

How about jumping over to the New User Introductions board and letting folks say Hello to ya?

The only place I can think of that may work on it for ya is Broken Detector Repairs.
