Hi Japanese
What battery you use in your project? Can measure at what minimal voltage the circuit can operate?

I think the search oscillator will operate powered by two AA cells. There is an idea (proposed in geotech1 forum) to design a pinpointer as about 500 mm long magic wand.

I have 200mm long ferrite rod with diameter 10 mm. Two AA batteries need about 120 mm and the rest 180 mm will be PCB and controls. I started to make the search oscillator.
