forgot to ask , is there anywhere else other than here and geotech where i can get my hands on lots and lots of PI schematics ??

Cool your jets, mate. You've found the two best spots. There are a few others but they're mostly individuals posting their own designs without any discussion like on this forum or Geotech.

Avoid the Russian IP sites because they often redirect you to some bad places and the owners don't even realize it is happening. There is a guy in South Africa who has designed a PI machine which he shares only the schematic for called the Gold Pic. He uses a PIC chip and sells partial kits with programmed chips. He offers no source code.

It's OK GD let him have the schematics that he want's, we all know that the detector that he is building will probably only work at 40 - 60% and that once he has realized that he will be back to find out how to get it working like it should. Any ways he's the one loosing out not us. SO A HAPPY Christmas and a VERY prosperous new year to all of you.

All the best

> Go to the top right corner of this page. See the search bar? Type in the word "schematics"

It would be nice/robust if a schematic that was tested for many users of this forum will be marked as 'promoted' in a 'sticky' post.
