Hello NE555 .

They have a nice Cobra pcb board already done on a Russian forum . Looked really nice but I did not see a layout file like sprint or eagle .  You might want to look up the "super" Cobra on Google search it might save you time . I do not remember what frequency of the Cobra metal detector , but I am guessing somewhere between 10 to 15 khz ?? I read the machine works pretty good .

Regards..........Eugene

yup, Eugene, this is I am. the frequency of Cobra is 15 kHz, but it is possible to use any frequency, in range 12-15 kHz. there are only 2 capacitors you have to change in a TX generator getting either one or another. if you set more value of the capacitors you will get Tesoro Golden Sabre with 12 kHz (12,5 kHz?), because Cobra is same schematic like Tesoro.

I did not see a Tesoro detector in my life but I guess it is similar to all tesoro's where is some kinda preset of SAT, for ALL METALL mode.
