Thanks, but I've already got the schematic myself.. I offered to try and fix the amp for a co-worker, trying to find as much info as possible on it..

One of the reasons that Heathkit folded was due to the sparse documentation. It's likely that even the full manual wouldn't have a theory of operation. It would be solder this here and solder that there with pictures. Made for the layman, not the technician. The schematic was for the tech. The book was for the non tech.
