hi guys ,,i have resistors get hot i don't why ,,i change the transistor new and still get hot.. i change the transistor 2n3773 and transistor MPSA14.still hot i don't know whyyyy
THE RESISTOR 47 OHM
ANY ONE please can help

   Start by verifying the value and resistance of the 100 Ohm Resistor.  

Lift lift leg of same and measure current flow.

I figure it should show like .08 Amps.   Why they want that No Clue.   You could put a 1K resistor in that position and it would still work lowering that value.

 Those MPS 14  toast most easy.  Check to see if it's toasted yet again.


***    All the schematics I have on this are rubbish quality.  Do you have better ?

i put 1k resistor,,no get hot but the transistor  MPS 14  get toast



you right ,,the, MPSA 14 .. cook easy. i Change 3 times

LOL, Yep !  Garret used them in all of they're detectors Audio Output.  Any time I had issues with one that is what the problem was.  TOASTED MPSA 13 or 14.
