By the way how do you get the machine to differentiate between the word FULL and FOOL ?

It watches for the dunce cap. That's never full.

I'm sure that you will come right with your project soon.

Just finished it yesterday afternoon. Or the computer did. It's packed and ready to ship to a beta tester and the PC boards are being made this week. Should have pre-production prototypes in a month or so. Next up. Spoken language interface for the beast.

Scotty: "Hello, computer???"

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Cool GD so now we will be able to tell our computers what to do great stuff, by the way I use to love saying beam me up Scotty when things went wrong LOL and even more so when I was in trouble it always seemed to relax the situation a bit LOL

Xavier,

Just curious...

Are you perhaps referring to the type of coil that was discussed for the "Chance Pi" project?

If so, is this not slightly different than the multi-layered AM antenna coils (yet similar as a single-layer) and possibly a much easier to construct flat coil than spiral winding?

Regards,

barwildi

Hi Barwildi

Yes that was the basic idea but I decided not to use it after all any how not for this project but I will most certainly play around with this type of coil in the near future but with one difference I will use a standard coil for the TX and one of those for the RX could be a nice combination.

All the best
Xavier
