Hi Wus47

I did a test with it on my notebook I used a scope probe (home made) as I only have a microphone jack any how it seems to work fine. Do you build metal detectors?

All the best

Thank for your response.. In my message there is a mistake. Metal detector with which my program worked refers to as Hammer Head Rev 2.1 (not 22). I built some types of detectors. But for me best was Hammer Head. I do not have notebook or netbook and can not test the program in mountains.
On Geotech forum my program has taken advantage other user (also moderator). Also has appropriated it as own develper.
He had contract with the swedes. Therefore I move this theme on other forum.
In the new version I plan to expand opportunities of this program  and to increase its sensitivity. It will allow to simplify an electronic part of the metal detector (pulse induction). But while I have not yet money to purchase of the netbook.
Bellow is the link to geotech forum

Dear cko47,

Hi Wus47

The more post you make the more gold you get if you look at the top of the page (in fun stuff) you will see that there is a shop in that shop you can trade your gold for real "treasure" it's a motivation for the members to be more active on the forum.

All the best
Xavier

Privet Wus47

You make statement that discrimination with PI MD is possible using regression analysis. Can you explain what the principle behind this concept is?

......
I can not open all secrets. Differently I shall not have opportunities to earn a few money to purchase of the notebook(or netbook or portable computer). While I have collected only half of money (170 dollars.). My pension 100 dollars per one month.

Okey.

You should download my program (Pulse Induction Analyser) and call the help. In section " How it works " you will find the diagram. From  it will be clear as it is possible to discriminate metals.

If you know Russian language may be you are Russian.  I use the Ukrainian.
Best wishes

I looked at your diagram in "How it works" but it's not clear how you can discriminate.

Good luck

Hi Levettp!
For regression analysis are used some parameters of metal.
Build regression model. And also all parameters are sorten till its information level. It is all  that I can open.
Earlier I wrote, that on a Geotech forum moderator has presented my work for own. Therefore I have become more cautious.

have a nice day

Hi Levettp!

I think that using of A/D converter (16 or 24 bits and 5 MHz or more
frequence digitizing) and nextt processing results by portable computer is
an ideal variant.
I met in internet the ready resolving with an output to com port. It is necessary only to create the program.
Deserves the attention so-called resonant absorption by gold of radiofrequencies (about 1.7 MHz).
But I know only about a paramagnetic resonance. There frequencies are much higher (1000 MHz and more).
For researches of this problem  is necessary also the financing. For one to solve) this to a task very hardly and a lot of time will require.

While
Wus47
