Hi,
Yes, seen the thing about Bell.
What really happened was he USED Hughe's induction balance and got all of the credit.
Same thing with the telephone, it wasn't Bell, again it was Hughes!
Just seems that Bell was the better businessman.....

   I read recently that a Polish Lt by the name of Jozef Stanislaw Kozacki engineered a two coil metal detector that could be used by one person to sweep for mines. This was done around 1941, the British war council was presented with the unit for production to be used by the allies in ww2. Kozacki asked for nothing in return, no patent etc.. These units were still being used in the Gulf war in 1991..
Probably saved a lot of lives..........John in Va.
