Hello Everyone.

I found this on Google today, If you use a Big Screen Computer to read our Forum, then please sign in, and you can download this handy PDF File.

This is on Google search . It is not a new chart but It compares Metal Detectors by Brand and model number, lets you know the frequencies , some of the basic functions and other useful information. Kind of cool little PDF File, Kind of handy.
The only thing I see that's missing is the Prices. But Some of the metal Detectors may have been discontinued .

Best Regards and Everyone Stay Safe !!!

Eugene

Hello tinpan .

If you also notice that Minelab seems to sell the most Multi-Frequency Metal Detector models. All the other Big Brands seem to Focus on Single Frequency Machines. The single frequency can look Good on Sales Brochures and the specs sure sound impressive . But we know the single frequency machines work Great on certain Coins but other types of coins are usually left behind in the dirt for others to find later with their Multi-Frequency machines. This is 2020 and I think that we are heading into a new era of Multi-frequency Machines. Single frequency machines will someday be obsolete . Look at the chart below again that I posted a few days ago.
Not all but many of the single frequency machines may put out what I call a "dirty signal" with plenty of harmonics which are not as strong as the primary Resonant frequency and thus missing many Good Targets that others will find with their better Multi frequency machines. I think we are heading into a new era of metal detecting where people will not buy the cheap low end and the intermediate models, they will shop and buy the higher priced Multi-frequency , and they will leave no Treasure behind for someone else.

Thank-you and Glad you posted on here tinpan.

Best Regards and stay safe !!!

Eugene
