A great detector!!!
Comes with 8" coil.

According to the spec sheet weighs 2.76 pounds with the 8" coil.
Cheapest way to ship to Australia is $101.00 Surface Mail
Price is firm at $280.00, they generally sell in this condition for about $350-$399.00
I don't mind if I don't sell it, I love mine.

10.5" coil no longer available.
I generally don't use anything larger than an 8" coil and mostly use the 6" with the Edge.
Decided to see if my bad elbow can handle the extra weight of the 10.5" this weekend.
Found it can for a few hours and was surprised to find that it goes deep at the beach, 10" coins were no problem to pick up.
Even a pull tab at 10", larger objects even deeper. Easily picks up my small 6 1/2" can sized sand scoop at a distance of 3'.
Sorry decided to keep the coil.

I have never used my Edge in wet salt sand, not living near any ocean. I don't have any problem here in wet freshwater sand  which is loaded with black magnetic sand.

Hi Sven
thanks for your reply but I am afraid that the shipping cost is to say the least outrageous, good luck with the sale. regards. Bryan

Yup, that's for sure, you don't even want to know what Canada Post charges for Air Mail, I believe it was around $280.00. There are detectors I would like to buy also from overseas but, shipping is a big issue--the cost.

Hi Sven,  I have heard stories about that also, if we were sure of delivery would be good also but Australia post are very bad in that regard, I recently sold a Minelab explorer which would weigh more than twice the weight of your Fisher and I was able to send it registered for from memory $55.00, which really pleased me.Once again sorry we cant do business, I have a Whites eagle spectrum in immaculate condition which I would gladly swap with yoi if the conditions were right, I am 81 years of age and find the machines getting a little heavy so I am offloading my heavier ones,.Best regards Bryan
