Hi,
My old Compass Yukon 94b  is not working.  The power indicator LED is lighting but no sound is heard from speaker or earphone.  I'm getting voltage measurements around semiconductors but don't know what they really should be.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

Hello . No schematic is available on that compass model . Chances are it is a open transistor .
The 94B is old and may also have cold solder joints , a visual inspection may find the problem .
A defective capacitor ? A lot you can do without a schematic . Post some clear pictures of the top and bottom of the circuit board if you like . Let us know your progress .
