Haha, hey greasemunkey. Take me with you to France! I need a vacation.. lol.
Well the time it takes to ship I can delve more into power source info and the like to study up. I noticed that the PCB says 12V of power. is that from 8 AA batteries? Seems like a lot of space needed.

Maybe put a power connector in the side of the box with a 7812 regulator on the inside, then have a belt mounted 13.2 lipoly to plug into it. That way you can change the size of battery depending on how long you want it to run and keep some of the weight out of the box.

k. I have no worries about a large battery compartment anyway. I've strong enough arms to ignore the weight. The real challenge is lugging that 1000lb golden nugget found via the Sabre back to the vehicle! HAHA. yeah..
