I have an ACE 250 and am going to start doing some beach hunting. What I would like to have is a sling for my detector so that when I detect a hit, I'd like to slide the detector around to my back and not have to lay it down in the sand. Does anyone know if there any for sale or how would you make one. I was thinking of using a bungy cord. Anyone have any ideas?

possibly the strap for a lap-top case or similar piece of luggage.....you can even get one's without metal in them.    I nearly said a guitar strap, but that would probably be too long (unless you got a kid's sized one)
