I have my Tesoro Compadre I bought used off ebay. Yay!! I have the one with the 5.75" coil and the newer rev.4 pcb for those who might wanna know that info. No mods box stock. These are the air test results of dime penny nickel and quarter. These are with the disc all the way down in all metal. The measurements were taken with the coin being moved at a rapid back and forth pace under the coil to the point where I can just get an solid beep in both directions. These are absolute max air test measurement for my detector. Another 1/8" away from the coil from these test measurement and I get no signal at all.
Dime between 5 1/2 to 5 3/4"
Penny 6" to 6 1/4"
Nickel 6 1/2"
Quarter 6" (surprisingly)
These seem pretty darn good to me for a 100.00 one knob job. But the quarter being only 6" seems a little strange. Is that normal?
