These two detector circuits are redesigns of the Tesoro Golden Sabre detector.

The TGSL is a improved circuit based on the Tesoro circuit.

IVCONIC Golden Sabre Light (IGSL) is really two detectors in one.

One Circuit is designed to detect Ferrous Objects while the Second detects Non Ferrous Objects.

Both circuits have Independent Discrimination and Ground Balance provisions.

Both of these circuits are more then well documented.    You can even purchase a Full Parts and PCB kit for both.

thanks again Homefire, you have a wealth of knowledge to share. I see there are several coil designs on the net for these circuits, got my curiosity up.

Poptop, I'm mostly a coin hunter now.  Over the years I've run through the treasure hunting field and done a little of all kinds of hunting, from coin shooting, to bottles, to ghost towning, to light prospecting, to relics, to farms and yards, all the while coinshooting in  parks, tot lots and football and sporting fields.  My main focus now is again coin hunting!  I would like to get out and do a little placer prospecting, maybe panning and small sluicing, and ghost towning again.  I really enjoyed doing those things, but age and injuries are starting to crop up more often now!  LOL!  Grin

Thanks about the avatar.  That's my main man, ArfieBoy!   Detecting

that's right in my price range, if the hubcap has a little rust on it.

I do have a spare front hubcap from my '73 Bronco, only it has a hole in the center!  I guess it might work as a double pan for washing the gravel out both the side and the center!   My trouble nowadays isn't with the equipment.  My body seems to prtest a lot when I crouch too long beside a stream and it doesn't like cold water as much as it used to either!  When I want to get up I have to always have a rope so I can lasso a tree branch and pull myself up into a standing position!  Then I have to work for 10 minutes just to limber up my joints so I can get out of the water and up the bank.

I'm not saying I'm old yet, but Homey, I can remember when the baby moons were all the rage!  Everybody had to have them in those days!    Wise
