Go Up Go Down

Hello everyone, I built the dbp2010 and it worked right away, but with some problems; I did not find the timed fuse here and the detection depth does not exceed 60cm in any case, also I read somewhere that it does not detect the gold well. So, I decided to build another more powerful detector (depth up to 3m and detect gold very well) with discrimination if possible. So please, what did you suggest to me.

Gold !  Small / Large !  lb's ?  Nuggets?   Deep ?  LOL

With the current technology,  we simply do not have machines capable of being hot on Deep Small Gold  other then any other metal detector that can detect ANY other metals deep.

Top Notch PI detectors can go Deep but even they lack in the Small Gold department.

Top VLF machines can detect Small but they lack in the Deep Department.

So that leaves us in the DEEP LARGE or SMALL Shallow Gold  realm of choices hunting Gold.

thanks for your answer, what is the maximum depth for a vlf detector, and what is the best vlf and pi detectors you suggested to build.

    Good Read there Nickel !

What would you say your level of Electronics knowledge and skills are ?

DVM level ?

Oscilloscope level ?

Do you possess the knowledge / basic understanding of most all common electronics components ?

No insult intended but constructing a working metal detector of serious caliber  requires way more knowledge then say a Radio Shack  or Maplin type kit.
