Hi,
I am from Germany and I hope that somebody in this forum can help me.
I found an old MD and I think, it is a Cscope. But I don't know witch one. It doesn't work. If I know the type maybe I can repair it.
Look at the pictures. Anybody knows?

cscope did not answer this week but at their archive I found the manual of VLF/TR 3000.
It seems like my MD. The "Function Selection" knob is not the same.
Looking at the PCB, I think it was a DIY Kit. Was there such one at the 1980ies ?

Regards
Theo

Thank You,
That's it !
It is a K5000 but at cscope-archive isn't it. Only the case of 3000 is similar.
Great help, now I can search for a schematic or manual.

... and Success,
I found a picture of the original-schematic at Geotech,so I could calibrate the K5000.
Funny was a bunch of Capacitors between TX0 and RX. I Think it was an experiment of Calibration.
Without capacitors at the soldering points of the coil it works pretty good.
But in Disc mode there is no sound change ( like 990B e.g.). I mean the low tone at iron.
The disc-filter works.

Is this OK ?

Theo
