Does this look like a WW2 US Army belt buckle ? It is ,"magnetic",so I'll guess it is made of steel ,i can't find one like this on the internet ;-)

The eagle is wrong for the period and combat buckles would have been plain.   The eagle is more similar to the one the army used in the late 19th century than it is to the one used mid to late 20th century

I bought it on a online auction and i have been wondering about the choice of material and total lack of markings too ;-)

Sorry don't think it was ever a Army belt buckle, I just think it was one that was purchased on the civilian market and I don't believe it's very old either. sorry to be the bearer of bad news. and it's the wrong kind of fastner.
