you'd think some people would see the historical importance of artifacts such as coins, its not like i wore full nazi regailia, she was always nasty and i thought they were cool and thought she would enjoy them like my family and i have due to the way we got them..

If I'm not mistaken the Germans used the potato masher grenade in WWII. Longer skinner , pulled the cord on the bottom.

G'day all,

in addition to the well-known 'stick grenade' (Steilhandgranate?) - which because of the wooden shaft could be thrown considerably further than most of the allies' grenades, I believe the German Army also used a smaller grenade termed 'eihandgranate' (literally 'egg grenade') Also in use was the 'Gewehrgranate' which - as with the Allies - was fired from a discharger cup attached to the business end of the service rifle.

I have seen this type once before without spoon, pin, charge, and detonator. It is US made type from WWII used in Europe and the Pacific. The housing I believe is made from cast iron. The German type was called a "potato masher" by the US forces, because it was a can shaped charge attached to a wooden handle (approximately a foot long), and typically carried in their utility belt, or even as someone else has stated, their boots, for ease of use.

I still have all the Nazi SS Medals from my German Grandfather from WWII , he was a SS Colonel,
My Mother has his photo albums from where they invaded poland etc, not a pretty site by no means but it all part of history.

He was told to join or have his family executed , the SS etc, did not give Men much of a choice as to whether or not if they wanted join. it was Do so or face the consequences.
