Go Up Go Down

I just got my Sovereign GT on Monday.  I've been out with it 4 times. (2 beach & 2 inland).
I'm running with the stock 1000 coil & no meter.
Up until now, I've been using my White's Prizm IV with excellent results.  (gold rings, silver coins, Indians, Buffalos etc.)
How long should I expect the learning curve to take until I'm swinging like a pro?
I'm sure a lot of it is...the 3-L's (Location, Location, Location) but I fear I'm a long way from mastering this super machine.

Congratulations on your new detector! I think you should be quite familiar with it after having swung it for maybe a douzen times. The Sovereign is a pretty good machine and not too difficult to master. Just keep on swinging! I'm looking forward to seeing your finds.

Best wishes,

Christian

Well, it finally happened with the new GT.
I was at this school that I've been hunting a couple times a week.  It dates back to at least the 20's.  I've been pulling wheaties there pretty regularly.  Then Sunday....a 1951 Rosie.  Goes to show ya' Where there's wheat, there's silver.
I'm feeling a whole lot better about my Minelab now.

Glad to hear that you feel comfortable with your Sovereign now! You see it really didn't take you long to master it! Looking forwasrd to seeing some pictures of your finds. I'm sure you will soon find some silver, too!
