Where can I get a couple of battery packs for a older Sovereign? It's the type with (10) AA 1.2v 600Mah rechargeables linked together? I'm about ready to beak down and try and make them myself because I haven't had much luck.

Can you post a photo of the Battery carrier that it came with?

No Battery carrier. There are 5 AA batteries stacked on top of another 5 batteries for a total of 10. Attached is a photo. I took the shrink wrap off to see what was underneath. The detector is probably 20 yrs old. I am just getting back into detecting after a long absence. Eventually I am going to get a new detector, perhaps an E-trac. I haven't had any luck finding a holder of this size that will fit in the detector.

Yes. I have been looking into making a couple. Looks like I can get what I need online.

Hi
Theres a franchise called Batteries plus that is nation wide.  I work at one. You can get your pack made there with 900 MAh batteries for around 40.00 dollars. At our store we recently rebuilt several E trac packs.  anything but lithium ion. We cant get the raw cells.  .  I hope this helps everyone with that problem.
