Hi guys, please I need help who own or used Minelab Gold Hawk and Relic Hawk metal detector.
I got Minelab Gold Hawk metal detector and plus with that I got Relic Hawk coil with Higher and lower shaft.
My question is can I use Relic Hawk coil to Gold Hawk metal detector?
Relic Hawk operation frequency is set up for 5KHz and Gold Hawk operation frequency are set up for 6.4, 20 and 60 KHz.
Both coils connectors have the same connectors and 6 pins on it.
And also where I can buy spare battery?
I can't use SD or GP batteries, because connectors not the same.
Let me know please.

Minelab has manuals for download. Start there by getting one for each.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

For A start the Relic Hawk is just the First version of the Minelab Muskateer and the Gold Hawk is the first version of the Minelab Eureka Gold, So you need to use the coils from the modern versions then you will be ok Coiltek make them and so do Detech so check them out first, As for the Batteries you might have to buy new lead acid one from Tandys or Radio Shack and remove the tops or how ever they plug in and take the battery with you and if you can find one the same or bigger then your good to go, As GD said you can down load the manuals from Minelabs web site and then your good to go,

Good luck Hope this helps, RR
