Mate none of their coils have a uniform detection field and although many reviewers claim massive depth and success, If they were honest about them then they would no longer get their products to review, which means they would be out of work, Honestly you should stick with OME products and coiltek, I have spent hundreds of hours testing their coils then I passed the coils on to another tester and he found the same issue, in the end we gave the coils away,

Save your money these are not the magic coil you are searching for on big things they work ok but on small Gold and chains etc you would be better off with a white stick and a Guide Dog.

Hi, I have a Detech coil on my Tesoro Lobo and it is fantastic. Great ground coverage with increased depth and even very lightweight. I can highly recommend these coils!

Yes they work on Coin sized Targets but chains and Nuggets were a problem which just goes to show why we need so many coils

Hello Xavier, it's their Ultimate coil ... so rather big. I also have smaller one on my Whites V3i but not really fieldtested it yet.

Yes that's what RR was saying the bigger coils work well but their small coils are no good, it could be the luck of the draw as well, I'm looking forward to hearing from you once you have field tested your small coil. No need to tell you how finicky coils are so if they are not made in exactly the same way there will be change from one coil to the other, in fact even then there will be a small difference in the coils it just can't be helped.

i would very interested on the fieldtest too.
I got a 12" concentric and a 14” DD for my DFX, but I am always on the look out for something better.
What I would also like to know is how it performs on wet sand.

Their 14" round coils are no where near as good as coilTek and their 10x12" is no Deeper than the standard Minelab 10" and their 15x18" was useless and their 6" coil Saw objects3 to 4 inches less than the Standard Whites 5.3 / 6" coil and small objects as with the 10x12 they could not even see them and the nose of the coils are less sensitive than the back because sometimes the back of the coils can see things what the front just will not See,

Your 12" will beat the 14DD on depth, one coil that did do well on the DFX Surposidley was the Standard Round 18" But it was equalled By the Coiltek 15" WOT Coil and its Australian,
You will nee DD's in Australia because of the High Mineralisation  but in Lower areas the 12" whites coil will go deep, I have seen a Bent Halfpenny pulled up from 12 and a half inches with the Gain turned up to 35 to 40% so that coils is a Keeper, and it Killed the F75 Black with a Detech 15x18" fitted to it as witnessed By the Shop Staff and head sales team, As I have said before you will never get a bad Review from metal detecting Magazines and GURU's because they would be out of a job and never Get products to Test ever again,
IE the Fischer F75 if you get a good one they are great but because of Circuit/software Issues 4 Years ago they were on their 5 version of the Circuit Board, and there is always an excuse with Companies and the reviewers Get all the nice FreeBees from them and we pay dearly for the disappointment If I went round their house and sold them a pile of Junk I would be in Court for Fraud, Strange that isn't it.

These Detech coils have become very popular in Australia , seems that those with Minelab P.I detecters have had a great deal of success on the highly mineralised Gold fields where they run very smooth . But every now and then a bad coil gets past the screening ..cheers Mick
